About us

The real estate and investment company Odien was founded by Michael Saran in 2004. It only took a few years for us to become a leader in our field on the markets of Central and Eastern Europe.

We invest in very high-quality, possibly promising real estate, in private equity and in special situations. We are also active in the field of energy distribution and supply to households and businesses. We employ more than 500 people in the Czech Republic and abroad.

In all transactions, we invest our own capital and occasionally the capital of private investors, with whom we cooperate on projects almost permanently, or for years or decades. We value investors with longer-term investment horizons.

As part of our investment strategy, we try to use our knowledge of the local environment, expertise and experience to acquire high-quality, but currently insufficiently performing assets. Through effective investments, active administration and management, we transform the acquired assets into a long-term, reliable source of ever-increasing values.
